Your requested listing of all records of type Wills and Estates returned records in 3 table(s)...

Name of Table:  Deleware Probate Records - 1680 - 1925 (View Records!)
Table Description:  This list contains the Delaware Public Archives' (DPA) holding of manuscript probate records for all three counties from c. 1680 to c. 1925. These are not indexes to all the names appearing in the records, but only the names of the deceased for whom the files were created. Contained in each index are the individual's name, and a date or dates. The dates correspond to the date of the documents within that individual's file and may refer to a date of the will or to a date for probate to begin. New Castle and Kent County Probates are on self service microfilm available in the DPA Research Room, and Sussex is in the process of being filmed (inquire with Research Room staff for details). Copies of this microfilm are also available for sale. Ask staff for ordering information if you are interested.

Name of Table:  Williams Wills Recorded in North Carolina (View Records!)
Table Description:  This table contains a list of all Williams Wills that have been recorded in North Carolina. This information includes which county the wills were originally record in, the year of the will/probate, the actual location of the will (i.e. Will Book 2, page 147) and the location of the original. Sometimes you will find a will recorded and stored in a county other than the one in which it was originally written in. In these cases, you will see the county number indicated before the source info (i.e. 062, WB-B, pg 143). The original locations are: AR=NC State Archives in Raleigh; CTY=the county; SS/AR=Secretary of State's Records in the Archvies; nunc. - nuncupative will (i.e. oral will)

Finally, the transcriptions/original wills can be found on this site for those wills that are highlighted. If you have a transcription/original of a will and it is not listed on the site, please let me know!

Name of Table:  Williams Wills and Estate Records (View Records!)
Table Description:  This section contains transcriptions and original scans of Williams Will and Estate records from all over the world. When possible, the source citation is given for each record as well as the name and email of the person who submitted the record to the website. A very large number of these transcriptions are available due to the volunteerism of a number of Williams researchers, who gave their time to transcribe the wills from the original scans.

We are always looking for new records. If you have one that you would be willing to add here, please contact Adrian directly.
